A news aggregation app frontend built during a hackathon. Clean, responsive UI for browsing and reading news articles with category filtering and modern layout.

Tathya is a news aggregation frontend I built during the Code for Change hackathon in Chitwan, Nepal. The goal was to create a clean, accessible way for people to browse news from multiple sources in one place.
Built with React and plain CSS for fast iteration during the 24-hour hackathon. The UI was designed mobile-first with a focus on readability. Category filtering uses client-side state management with React hooks. The card layout uses CSS Grid with responsive breakpoints.
This project earned our team 2nd place at the hackathon. We focused heavily on UX and accessibility, which the judges appreciated. Working under time pressure taught me to prioritize features and ship fast.
